Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Wardwell Labs ("Wardwell") handles information when you use the hosted Wardwell service.
Information we collect and handle
- Pilot-interest and account information, such as your email address, memberships, and passkey credential metadata. Wardwell does not receive the biometric or device PIN used by a passkey.
- Content from sources you choose to connect, including messages from Slack channels you explicitly enable and the project context derived from them.
- Your actions in Wardwell, including requests, decisions, corrections, receipts, and settings changes.
- Billing status from our payment processor. Wardwell does not store full payment-card details.
- Technical and security information needed to operate and protect the service, such as timestamps, request metadata, and audit events.
How we use information
We use information to follow up about pilot access, provide the work surface, maintain project context, prepare briefs, carry out requested actions, secure accounts, support customers, process billing, diagnose reliability problems, and comply with law.
Hosted custody and connected services
The hosted product stores the context needed to provide the service. It is not the same custody model as the local-first Wardwell command-line tool. When you connect Slack, use Stripe checkout, receive email, or use model-powered processing, information is shared with those providers only as needed for that function and is also governed by their terms and privacy practices.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with service providers for infrastructure, communications, payment, source integration, and models that help operate Wardwell; when you direct us to share or publish something; to protect rights and safety; or when required by law. If Wardwell is involved in a reorganization or sale, information may transfer as part of that transaction subject to this policy.
Data retention and your rights
We retain information while your account is active and as reasonably needed to provide the service, maintain security and audit records, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. Wardwell provides an account export. You may ask us to correct account information or close your account, subject to records we must retain.
Security
We use technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect customer information, including tenant boundaries, scoped access, encrypted sessions, and security logging. No system can guarantee absolute security.
Children
Wardwell is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
